Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Travaasa Hana had its ups and downs. I loved the stunning views and spacious room, which felt comfortable overall. However, the service left much to be desired, particularly during check-in and check-out. The dining experiences were hit or miss, and despite the serene atmosphere, it was occasionally disrupted by maintenance work. Overall, it's a beautiful place but not quite the luxurious experience I was hoping for given the price.
Travaasa Hana offers a stunning setting with incredible views and opportunities for unique cultural experiences. However, the overall stay can be quite disappointing, primarily due to issues with customer service, outdated amenities, and a lack of attention to detail. While the food and pool facilities have their strengths, the steep price tag doesn't match the value provided, especially with ongoing maintenance and service issues.
Staying at this hotel was an experience of mixed feelings. The stunning ocean views and spacious grounds were certainly highlights. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made the rooms uncomfortably hot, which significantly impacted my overall comfort. The staff was eager to help, but the dining options fell short of my expectations. I felt the value for what I paid was not as high as I had anticipated.
My stay at Travaasa Hana felt like a true escape into the heart of Maui. The setting was serene with panoramic ocean views, and a real connection to the local culture was evident throughout. The staff were genuinely warm and engaging, making me feel welcomed and cared for. However, while dining options were unique and delicious, I would have liked a slightly broader selection of daytime meals.
I stayed at Travaasa Hana for one night during our Road to Hana adventure. The property offers some stunning views and the service is commendable, with staff being attentive and welcoming. However, we encountered a significant issue with the lack of air conditioning, which made our sleep uncomfortable, especially for the kids. The amenities are nice, but some aspects of the accommodation felt outdated and below expectations.
The hotel offers stunning ocean views and a tranquil atmosphere, making it a perfect escape for relaxation. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience, and the unique cultural activities were a highlight for us. However, the accommodations felt somewhat dated and needed maintenance, which affected our overall enjoyment. The dining options were decent, but improvements could elevate the experience further.
I was pretty disappointed with my stay, especially given the price. The grounds were lovely, and I appreciated the cozy atmosphere, but the service was lacking and my room was uncomfortably warm. The dining options felt overpriced for what was offered, and I'd probably suggest looking for alternatives if you're planning a longer stay.
